12 Days of Christmas Contest Rules

 
1.  How to Enter  

1.1. Look in your mailbox for your Free Great Values Magazine.  The magazine will be mailed to households in the Lebanon and Albany areas starting October 23^rd, 2006.

1.2.  There are a total of 15 businesses that are participating in the contest.  Each business has an advertisement with the “Official 12 Days of Christmas Entry Form” printed inside.

1.3.   Clip and complete the “Official 12 Days of Christmas Entry Form”

1.4.   Go the participating business and drop off the  “Official 12 Days of Christmas Entry Form” in the KGAL/ KSHO Great Values Magazine 12 Days of Christmas Entry Box. To be qualified the entry form must be the “Official 12 Days of Christmas Entry Form” and must be filled out completely with required information.

1.4.1.  To enter at KGAL/KSHO the “Enter to Win" Entry Form may be submitted in the following ways:

1.4.1.1.  Via US Mail to  “Official 12 Days of Christmas Entry”, KGAL/ KSHO, PO Box 749, Albany, OR 97321. 

Note that the “Enter to Win" 12 Days of Christmas clip out form in the Great Values Magazine for KGAL/ KSHO has the incorrect city and Zip Code of the PO Box.   The correct city and Zip Code is:  Albany, OR 97321 as noted above.

1.4.1.2.    Via  www.kgal.com web site. 



There will be a special ““Official 12 Days of Christmas contest” section, a special web page and a special entry web page.

1.5.      Entry Deadline

1.5.1.    We will accept contest entries at sponsor location until the closing of the standard business day on Friday, November 24^th.  

NOTE: The Great Value Magazine's Official "Enter to Win" clip out entry forms have an "Exp: 12-12-06" date. This is the closing day (issue final prizes) of the contest. The FINAL DAY TO ENTER is noted above, Friday, November 24^th

1.5.2.    We will accept Mail In or web submission entries until 11:59 pm Friday, November 24^th.

1.5.3.     In the event any given sponsor is not open on the deadline date (note this is a Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend) the deadline will be the latest closing time of business prior to the deadline.

2.        Grand Prize Entry

2.1.      By entering at the 14 “Daily Prize Sponsors” you will also be entering for the Grand Prize from The Oregon Angler- Todd Hannah. The prize- a fun day fishing with Todd Hannah.   

     3.   Prize Determination

         3.1.   Radio Ray and Weldon Ray will conduct a random drawing from the qualified entries for each of the Official 12 Days of Christmas.

               3.1.1.   The drawings will be conducted on Weekdays, starting November 27^th during the Morning Update on NewsTalk 1580 KGAL.

              3.1.2.    Drawings are from:

                              3.1.2.1.   Monday 11/27/2006 to Friday 12/1/2006

                              3.1.2.2.   Monday 12/4/2006 to Friday 12/8/2006

                              3.1.2.3.   Monday 12/11/2006

       3.1.2.4.   Tuesday 12/12/2006.  Final Drawing and Grand Prize Drawing

3.1.3.    The drawing will be conducted during the 6 to 9 am time period on dates noted above.

3.1.4.    Drawings from 11/27/2006 to 12/11/2006 will be conducted for a single business

3.1.5.    The Final Day 12/12/2007 will feature 2 daily prize drawings and the Grand Prize Drawing.

3.1.5.1.   The first drawing The Lebanon Chamber and Mission Hills Mortgage Bankers. Prizes will be combined for one winner with the drawing done from the combined qualified entries from both locations.

3.1.5.2.   The second drawing: The KGAL/KSHO Entries

 

3.2.      Grand Prize Drawing

3.2.1.   This will be the 3^rd drawing on the 12-day of the contest, 12/12/2007.

3.2.2.    Drawn from all qualified entries combined from all locations. 

4.         Prize Delivery

4.1.      Contest winners will be contacted via telephone, and if necessary mail and email.

4.2.      Contest Prizes will be picked up at applicable business with the exception of:

4.2.1.   KGAL/KSHO Prize. It will be mailed to winner

4.2.2.   The Oregon Angler- Todd Hannah. It will be mailed to winner 

5.        Additional Contest Information

5.1.      NewsTalk 1580 during the Weekday Morning Update will announce the upcoming drawing dates and prizes for each prize package. These live announcements will air from 11/20/2006-12/12/2006.  

       5.2.  Radio Stations 920 KSHO and NewsTalk 1580 will air pre-recorded announcements noting the upcoming drawing dates and prizes for each prize package. These live announcements will air from 11/20/2006-12/12/2006.

       5.3.  NewsTalk 1580 will air live announcements noting the 12 Days of Christmas Contest” winners. 920 KSHO and NewsTalk 1580 will air pre-recorded announcements noting the 12 Days of Christmas Contest” winners. Announcements for privacy purposes will be limited to Name and City for Web and on air announcement postings

5.4.    www.kgal.com will  post on the “12 Days of Christmas Contest” web page(s) a listing of each of the prizes.

5.5.    www.kgal.com will post on the “12 Days of Christmas Contest” web page(s) a listing of which business(es) and prize(s) will be awarded for each of the 12 contest drawing days.

5.6.   www.kgal.com will post on the “12 Days of Christmas Contest” web page(s) a listing of each prize winner. Listing for privacy purposes will be limited to Name and City for Web and on air announcement postings   


    6.   Limitations

           6.1.    One entry Per Person Per Household for each of the participating daily prize sponsors.

           6.2.    Contest Participants must be 18 years of age.

           6.3.    No copies or digital images of “Official 12 Days of Christmas Entry Form” will qualify for contest entry at drop box locations.

           6.4.    Winner will be responsible for any applicable taxes .
