Christy Schloss Third Grade Teacher at Corvallis's School District 509j's Jefferson Elementary School was named the Concept Systems KGAL/KSHO Teacher Feature Award winner for the month of November.
The announcement of her award was aired on the morning news update on 1580 KGAL with news anchor Radio Ray. The Concept Systems Teacher Feature Award Winner, Christy Schloss will also appear live on 1580 KGAL's local talk show Valley Talk with host Jim Willhight during the 11:00 am hour on Tuesday, December 27th. Mrs.. Evans will be joined by Jefferson Elementary School Principal Mrs. Denise Gorthy.
The award will be presented to the winner at the Albany Studios of KGAL / KSHO (222 West First, Albany) on Tuesday, December 27th at 11:00 am.
She will receive $100.00 cash from Concept Systems and a $100.00 gift certificate from Shop 'n Kart, Shuttleworth Video Services and KGAL/KSHO Radio.
Her school, Jefferson Elementary School in Corvallis will received$500.00 worth of radio advertising to promote a school non-profit event.
Mrs. Schloss will also be one of the nine monthly winners that will be eligible to win the annual Grand Prize, a Dell Desktop PC with software for the teachers personal use. In addition the Grand Prize Winning teacher's school will receive the Grand Prize of 6 PC's, networked with a printer. The Grand Prize will be provided by Concept Systems of Albany and will be announced in June of 2005.
1580 KGAL and 920 KSHO are now accepting nominations for the November Concept Systems Teacher Feature Award.
